August is Dinosaur Month at Because Science! Celebrate with us by excavating a dinosaur!

We challenge YOU to figure out the best way to excavate a dinosaur frozen in a watery egg. Does liquid water work? Does it have to be warm? What if we add salt? What if we use a hammer?

Adults and kids welcome to play! This activity is best suited for kids 5-8 though younger kids can play using water only with adult assistance. Anyone using a hammer will be required to wear padded gloves and safety glasses, and everyone in the room will wear safety glasses if anyone is using a hammer.

We do not require advance registration- just stop by during activity hours. You can make payment at the register or in the CL with exact cash or Venmo. Though, registering does make it super easy to automatically create an event on your calendar and ensure we have enough eggs to go around.
