Voting Information
2025 AMPBID Board Election Process
Ballots will be mailed to members after the election slate is announced at the board meeting on February 11, 2025. We are using Election Buddy again to manage the election process because their system will guarantee the integrity of the election and keep each vote secret while still enabling auditing if necessary.
There are 4 property owner seats and 2 business owner seats on the ballot.
Property owners will receive a ballot allowing them to vote for property owners and business owners will receive a ballot allowing them to vote for business owners. Ballots will be mailed to all voters using the addresses we have on record from the DC Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR).
All voting will be done electronically. Ballots will have instructions on how to vote online. Each ballot is unique to the voter and once the ballot has been used to cast a vote, it cannot be used again.
Voting will begin at Noon on Friday, February 14, 2024 and will continue until 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 11 (during the annual meeting). Results will be announced before the end of the annual meeting. Voters can vote as soon as they receive their ballot. If you do not receive or are unable to use your ballot for any reason, please contact Brian Barrie at bbarrie@admodc.org or 202-536-9515 for assistance.
Problems voting/Proxy votes
Anyone with a computer or smartphone and an internet connection should be able to vote in this election by following the instructions on the ballot. If you are having trouble please contact Brian Barrie at bbarrie@admodc.org or 202-536-9515 for assistance. If you are unable to vote by those means and need to assign your vote to another person via proxy or to vote by mail (this would not be a secret ballot), contact Kristen Barden at kbarden@admodc.org or 202-997-0783.
