August is Dinosaur Month at Because Science! Celebrate with us by making your own dinosaur “fossils” using salt dough.

We’ll provide all the materials and you’ll take home several dinosaur fossils to bake and play with later. Meanwhile, learn a bit about how fossils are formed!

Adults and kids welcome to play! This activity is best suited for kids 3-7 though younger kids can make one with adult assistance. We’ll provide instructions for baking your salt dough fossils so that they can be played with at home.

We do not require advance registration- just stop by during activity hours. You can make payment at the register or in the CL with exact cash or Venmo. Though, registering does make it super easy to automatically create an event on your calendar and ensure we make enough dough.
