Pride Month is almost here and Adams Morgan is getting in the spirit! To kick off our month-long celebration throughout June, we are hosting our first-ever PRIDE Storefront Decorating Contest! All Adams Morgan businesses with storefronts are invited to participate/enter the contest for a cash prize.

• First place winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize
• Second place winner will receive a $500 cash prize
• Third place winner will receive a $250 cash prize

Decorations must be Pride-themed and viewable from the sidewalk (exterior decorations). You are welcome to add decorations to the inside of your business as well (bonus points!). Our hope is to come together as a community to make Adams Morgan as festive as possible, increase neighborhood foot traffic during Pride celebrations, and receive increased media attention. Below outlines important contest dates:

• Deadline to enter your business in the contest: the entry deadline has passed
• In-person judging: Friday afternoon
• Online Voting: Noon on Friday, June 7 – Midnight, Monday, June 10 (online voting was pushed back to Friday from Monday because of the weather this week)
• Winners will be announced on Tuesday, June 11

We will not provide photographs of the participating business to avoid any unfair edge or disadvantage due to the quality/quantity of photographs. Please visit the businesses yourself or check their social media for images to judge for yourself.
