Celebrate both the official Grand Opening of Because Science, as well as the launch of the Craft Lab! Stop by Saturday and Sunday 11-8 for rotating (free) science + art activities, a lab-themed photobooth, engineering challenges, and prize giveaways.

Come take a look at the brand new Craft Lab, which will open to the public on June 24. This is our event space where we’ll have free and ticketed events all covering the intersection of science and art. Think engineering challenges, science painting, dinosaur crafts, presentations from NASA researchers, science comedy nights, game and trivia nights, and so much more! The Craft Lab schedule for June + July will be posted before the opening.

This opening party is suitable for adults and children to enjoy.

Also, we’ll be doing a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony with the city at 2pm on Friday June 23, and you’re welcome to come and support us during that.
